Getting Your Blueprint Accepted Quicker: the VPNaaS Use Case

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

VPNaaS was a complex blueprint and back in April 2013, three or more blueprints were submitted on the same topic. It was difficult to come to a consensus since each submitter had different views and priorities. Despite of these difficulties, VPNaaS was agreed by all parties and scheduled for Havana a few weeks later.

Upstream University is a training program designed to help Free Software contributors get their feature and patches accepted quicker. It played a small but essential role, behind the scene, in the acceptance of the VPNaaS blueprint.

The story will be told, with testimonials from the people involved and a few anecdotes.
